OPEN ENROLLMENT PROCESS FOR 2023-24 and 2024-25:
The information below provides you directions on where to obtain the form and where you should submit the application based on if you are enrolling into or out of the district. Please review and if you have any questions, contact Buffi Honeck in the District Office at 641-483-2660.

2023-24 Open Enrollment Application
Please complete this form if your student(s) will be open enrolling to attend classes beginning in August for the 2023-24 school year.
2024-25 Open Enrollment Application
Please complete this form if your student(s) will be open enrolling to attend classes beginning in August for the 2024-25 school year.
Returning a Completed Application: Make sure to complete an application for EACH student if you have multiple who are applying to open enroll.
If your student is applying to open enroll INTO West Marshall, complete and return your application to West Marshall CSD.
Once approved, it will be forwarded to your resident district for their final approval and then returned to us; you will then receive a letter notifying you of the official acceptance.
To return the application to West Marshall:
- Scan and email it to Buffi Honeck in the District Office at bhoneck@wmcsd.org
- Mail it to the District Office: West Marshall CSD Attn: Buffi Honeck / PO Box 670 / State Center, IA / 50247
- Drop it off to the District Office located near the gym in the High School: Call 641-483-2660 for hours.
- During the School Year: You can take it to the office of any district building.
If your student is applying to open enroll OUT OF West Marshall, complete and return your application to the RECEIVING school district for their approval.
Upon their approval, it will be forwarded to West Marshall for verification and signature, and then returned back to the receiving district. They will then notify you of the final application status.
