Gym USE and Building Rentals

West Marshall offers usage of our gyms and buildings for rentals throughout the district outside of normal usage time for school events/practices.  If you would like to rent our facilities, please complete the “Facility Usage Request Form” using the below link.  Prior to renting, we recommend that you read and review the Board Policies (linked below) around facility rental to familiarize yourself with expectations, any regulations/stipulations around facility use, requirements to rent, and costs.
Please keep in mind we have many wanting to rent/use the district facilities and we will do our best to accommodate everyone.  Rental time is for 90 minutes max for groups per week, thus allowing more groups to access and use.
ALL requests must be made at least one week in advance of requested date to allow time for proper paperwork and use of gym by our school staff for events.
Buildings and sites will not be available unless a contract is signed by the entity and the school district, and payment made 3 days prior to use of facility.
As noted in Board Policy 905.1R1:  A $500,000 general liability insurance policy naming the school as an informed institution is required for any non-school organization renting the facilities.  The district would permit equal to that of $500,000 if multiple parties agree to contract terms and conditions.

To Begin the Rental Process:
Complete the form online for EACH date you would like to request space.  Upon completion, you will be contacted within 24-48 hours to finalize the usage details.

Additional Documents Needed:
Complete the applicable form(s) below (all in a fillable pdf format), download each form, and email the completed form(s) along with proof of your insurance coverage (as required per board policy 905.1R1) to Michelle Wilson at mwilson@wmcsd.org.  Once all required information has been received, your usage request will be confirmed and added to the Facility Usage Calendar.

Rates for Use of Buildings and Sites:
  • Classroom $12.00 each
  • Elem/MS/HS Gyms $12.00 per hour (Bring own basketballs/volleyballs)
  • Elem/MS/HS Cafeterias $25.00 for each 3 hour increment
  • Elem/MS/HS Kitchen $25.00 plus cost of Food Service Employee
  • Auditorium $50.00
  • Annex Building $25.00 for each 3 hour increment
  • Swimming Pool $40.00 for each 3 hour increment
  • $8.00 per hour for lifeguard
  • Ballparks & Outdoor:  Facilities – no lights $10.00 / with lights $15.00 per hour
  • ICN Classroom $12.50 per hour
  • Custodial Services, when needed will be charged at a rate of  $13.00 an hour
  • Kitchen employee rates $12.00 per hour
